Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Return to Lunar Children

ghosts of the past

She wanted to trust the male but her wits were still about her and she thought about how paranoid her father had been lately. She asked if he had a message for her and he seemed to relax a little, maybe because she was trusting that he did know Ghost? Or was it because she was falling into his trap? Lucia stayed tense but forced herself to breathe. She wanted to believe he had good intentions. When he looked around, she found herself doing the same, wide eyes taking in their empty surroundings as if any moment a boogey man would jump out to attack them. When nothing of the sort happened, she looked back at him and pricked her ears to listen as he spoke. He said that Ghost wanted her to come to Taviora and see what she thought. Her ears flicked back and forth, uncertainty obvious in her gaze before she looked at her paws then back at him. "Um, okay, I guess. I've never seen the pack lands."

She felt so sheltered in these moments. Sure, she could have gone to the pack lands herself and seen them, or even joined a pack, but something always held her back. Was it her own mother's feelings toward packs and how they only held bad memories for her? Lucia could tell her father didn't feel the same but he indulged Malleah out of love for her. Maybe Lucia was afraid if she joined a pack then the same thing could happen to her that had traumatized her mother so much. Lucia didn't know where Ghost went when they were done with their lessons. Did she have a pack? She didn't smell like one but Ghost could probably rub off the scent. It went right along with her name, after all. She was a ghost. Lucia had to trust that if the male knew her, he wouldn't wish to harm her, right? Ghost would surely rip him a new one if something happened to her. The male went on to say Ghost trusted her judgement more and he'd showed her the pack to begin with.

She felt herself relaxing a little, offering the male a small smile. "I don't know how much I'd know about it but I'd like to see it." She nudged her head for the male to lead the way, trying to keep her courage about her.
