PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

black dress, with the tights underneath fiero / open

A fierce sort of pleasure filled her every time she thought of Fiero and the gift he had given her. It wasn't that Switch craved motherhood in and of itself. In fact, the knowledge that she was soon to be responsible for a needy, tiny, bawling creature made her feel sick with fear and rare self-doubt. But she adored Fiero. And she knew already that no matter what came out of her in the Spring, she would love the little bebé with her entire heart.

Now that she knew their pairing had been successful, evidence by the tiny bump that had begun to swell around her midsection, she needed him to make a plan. Or the start of one. Something that would lead them from their give and take existence as it existed now, with Switch sleeping most nights on the Crossing, and he still a prisoner of the fearsome Peak.

She didn't know why she didn't care for the Peak exactly, although she suspected it had something to do with the way the mares looked down upon her amante as though he were less than them simply because he had something different between his legs. It infuriated her in ways that she couldn't explain that they did not see how amazing he was, even if he was, occasionally, a cabrón.

It was their loss, in truth. Switch didn't know what she needed to do to free him from the Peak's grasping hooves, but she would do everything she could to bring her loverboy to the appropriate status that he deserved. But first, he needed to know her news. And lord help him if he didn't show the proper amount of excitement for the product of their union.

She sauntered across the border of the Peak with a dancer's lightness, her small steps making hardly any noise against the rocky ground. It is only when she is well and truly in the Peak that she halts to call out sweetly for her loverboy, her bright eyes already searching for him amongst the herd.
