1) I think the challenge feature is used so much because there are few characters who want to wait for results when a challenge can acquire them what they need. I don't think dice do anything negative, but I do think that a lack of resources makes people seek the most straight-line way towards their goal. aka. challenges.
2) I love the governments, but perhaps add benefits to island governments? Like, say, for each type of government that is not anarchy there is some boon or benefit for there being an island government!
3) I think that basic readability of a challenge is important, but if it is easily understood using whatever grammar and spelling is provided - why deduct points. Maybe, instead, offer an additional point for uninterrupted flow of the post?
4) Yes, GOD please open more territories. Everywhere. There are some epic plots going on and its horrible to disrupt those simply because there aren't enough places for newer characters to set up shop. I have at least four characters that'd be interested in an opened territory as either head-lead, co-lead, or sub-lead as it is. Preeeeeetty freaking please, hahaha!
5) I would love characters being given exp for the random events. I think maybe they can choose to get exp for battles or maybe there is a low-level type gift they can acquire in the event that they participate in the event? There aren't many 'games' or stuff atm that provide gifts and such, so maybe using the events as well could offer more opportunities to those who do not smash face at posting quantity?
6) I think that in general, each horse should be permitted to challenge once a season and be challenged once a season in the Peak and Lagoon since it seems like they're limited extremely while having to maintain a totally different lifestyle from the normal herd dynamic. Maybe there is a limit to how many can challenge the same individual, but not how many can challenge??? IE. Cullen challenges Solomon for Daciana. No one else may challenge Solomon for that month, but Muerte may challenge Warsaw regardless because it is a different horse.
7) I think loosening is better than negating size restrictions. Maybe it's as simple as 'each player can have a character below the height limit and a character above the height limit'. Maybe you just add to the rules that breeding a horse at a certain height differential will end in a terminal birthing for the mother and child or will not be permitted.
