PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Nekharat listened carefully to Wasp as she described the events that had unfolded in regards to Solomon. It was as complicated as she imagined, maybe more. Solomon had been much vaguer than Wasp in explaining why he felt the Peak mares weren’t trustworthy, and while she can see both perspectives, she had to believe that the specificity around what the dark mare before her had said lent itself closer to the truth. The mares Wasp described both were likely viewed by Solomon as his family, but if they weren’t happy and wanted help to get away from Solomon, or if they were forced into pregnancy at a young age, that certainly wasn’t caring behavior. Nekharat knew for a fact that just because someone was family, didn’t make their intentions good.

Wasp warned her to be careful of him and she nodded, though she felt quite certain she could handle herself if Solomon ever came to her to make trouble. After all, the red mare had spent years as a young filly by herself, and if she could survive that, she could certainly put a pushy stallion in his place. Wasp's quip about her personality and small smile was infectious, and Nekharat offered a quick snort of laughter in response.

“The male ego is fragile,” Nekharat retorted back with a grin. “I’m sure he doesn’t appreciate how much you’ve emasculated him for the greater good.”

The red mare dipped her head in agreement at Wasp's suggestion that they both should learn more about the female-led herds of the islands. “And I’d be glad to help you with that,” Nekharat replied as she considered where she might go first. Perhaps Luthien, considering the majority of the fighting in the war had taken place there.
