Freedom, once more! A devious grin curled at the colt's lips as he tore of across the beach, splashing in the water and kicking up his heels. He loved when he could get the chance to make his parents look the other way so he could slip off and do whatever he wanted. Last time, he got to take an older colt on a wild goose chase around the herd lands. Who knows what he could get into this time? Snickering, he kicked out at a passing wave and trotted up onto the shore. A crab dared to click its claw at him so he snorted and jumped at it in retaliation. When the thing actually dared to come toward him, he glared at the little crustacean and stomped a hoof in the sand. "Now, listen here, mister. Don't threaten me unless you're going to back it up, got it?" His nostrils flared as he waited for the crab to answer back and when it actually charged him, he leapt back with a gasp before realizing how that must have looked.

Quickly he looked around to make sure no one had seen before he snorted again harsher this time and stomped right back over to the crab. "Alright, that's it. You're going back in the water!" He went to nudge at it with his muzzle but the moment it swung a claw at him, he jerked back just in time. His eyes were wide with indignation, but he didn't let it stop him. Glaring the crab down once more, he turned his hocks to the rebellious little creature and gently swished his tail toward it. His face screwed up with concentration as he waited for the crab to take the bait and the moment it had its pincers closed around a few strands of his tail, he let out a whoop of victory before madly swishing his tail toward the water. But the danged thing wouldn't let go! Victory turned into a mild panic as he realized he might have a crab stuck to his tail forever! Wildly, he looked around, wondering who he could trick into getting him out of this predicament.
