Couldn't agree more. That's how the public sector works in the rest of the world. You get pretty sh%t care in the government sector and if you want better care, you pay for it.
In other countries, the government salary is rubbish but some people who can't be bothered to set up privately or who are not very competent will stay in the government. Anyone who is ambitious/competent will do private work. That's just normal.
The UK is just catching up with the rest of the world.
I disagree with (6) and (7). The UK will become like overseas. We will set up our own stand alone units to compete with New Medica/Specsavers. The NHS is dead, but plenty of opportunity outside of it... Replies:
