Love shouldn't be contraband [thread end]

OOC: Hope you don't mind that I ended this thread here considering their newest one.

Ailill looks surprised at her words, but his face does not stay that way long. She spills her thoughts out to Ailill expecting him to lash out from his hurt ego. It would have been a typical reaction, but the stallion proves her wrong. His good heart shines through his pain. Ailill speaks and says only good things that make her heart flutter. It was easy to tell how they ended up in this situation. No matter how you feel about someone when they give you the attention you've been seeking it was too easy to spiral into a false love. She accepts his gesture of friendship with no hesitation. He continues to say he would always be there for her and their child. Just a moment or two of silence passes between them. Still, they smile at one another.

Ailill soon speaks again admitting he did have true feeling for Siobhan. He did not feel the same for her and honestly it was too new for her to fall in love with him. Sure she really liked him, but it wasn't deep love. He agrees to tell Siobhan everything. Ailill then moves forward into hard questions. He wanted to know where she was living now and if he could take an active part of their unborn's life. "Thank you for the kind words. I really respect you and I respect Siobhan so I feel things must be this way." She smiles, a bittersweet smile. "You were so kind to me when we first met and I think that is why I attached myself to you once Bjorn was gone. After I was injured in battle and lost my Queenship, you were the only one to help me. Bjorn barely gave me another glance until the day I told him I was leaving. He didn't even fight for me to stay."

Maybe he had known she had already given up, but after talking to Siobhan she thinks Bjorn just didn't have the feelings he thought he had for her. She wished he would have just been honest, but instead he left things unsaid. He left her hurting and wondering why and what if. Ysabel knows she made the right choice in leaving the Ridge herd behind her. Nyimara gave her many examples to justify her worries and Bjorn did not care. She shouldn't have to be with someone like that. Thankfully he had been decent enough to let her go willing even if she had wanted him to beg her to stay. "Of course you can be in the child's life. I need you to be in it especially if we have a son. A colt needs to be taught the proper manners you have." She smiles and steps closer. Ysabel reaches out and nuzzles his golden chest.

She takes a step back to look at him fully. "My family and I have moved to the Cove under Solomon's watch. Come and find me around the second week of spring. By then our baby should be born." That bittersweet smile returns to her lips. "Take care of Siobhan and I will see you in the spring. I should be getting back to my children now." Her head dips to the golden stallion. Seems Siobhan had a way of making stallions fall much harder than she did. Jealousy? Maybe some, but she knew her friend had a good heart. Siobhan did not ask for this drama and Ysabel wasn't about to give her more. With a heavy heart, Ysabel turns and makes the journey back towards the ocean to return to her new home.
