Question for you are you in Missouri? If you are you heard a 95.7 from Mexico, MO which is located in central Missouri. Kansas City's 95.7 transmitter site is about 1 mile north of Linwood, KS so their signal on the Missouri side is weakened enough that a distant station can override the "local" station during tropospheric ducting times.
