Rules
The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.
Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.
All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.
Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

There is silence at first as the others come. First a mare who seemed to hold the authority here. It was as though she had known of his need before anything could be asked. He had made himself known upon his coming here as there is no threat from he. There is only hope and recognition that they might be able to help for the past he had heard about. How they had taken from Cullen and left him alone. Still; he returns to his days little by little. A prisoner here and there and some who willingly settled into his ranks.
Others? They fought against him or left of their own accord. There was one that stories had told had killed before Cullen and then left with threats of he calling after them again. It surprised him in admiration. This stallion was not one he knew. Little was known about life beyond what he had witnessed and what he knew from his home. The stories he heard of the Peak and the Lagoon. The two were not friends of current and why should they be? Cullen comes to attempt to take from them with raids? To take others with force against their own will merely because they were weaker than he. If only in his eyes perhaps. Goose did not know but he had been in that position. He had gone against the other and been turned down. He had been salty and who could have blamed him?
Still; Valka had come for him and taken him from the hatred of the Lagoon and it's cruel boss. Cullen. The name was poison to his thoughts. Goose has no like for the Lagoon's keeper. Goose has only hatred and anger. Cullen had come after the Bay and he again. He had gone against Valka for his sweet Loire and their son. Valka again had lost against the pathetic Boss.
Again; Goose doe ot fault his Matriarch. It is not her fault that Cullen again comes after those that could not possibly best him in battle. It is not Valka's fault that a swampy fool was targeting those who were weaker than he and imprisoning them. It wasn't fair but most of them were helpless to defend themselves. Could they change that? Could they take him from the glory he was rebuilding? Well, attempting to rebuild really. There had been some success there and it made Goose writhe inwardly and seethe. Cullen deserved to rot for the hell he caused those around him. Nothing. Cullen deserved nothing to keep him proud and cruel.
Valka speaks and Goose is quiet as another approaches. There is agreement from she toward Valka's words of Cullen being a prisoner. This newcomer spoke sourly of him and even went as far as to wish his death. Was that a possibility here? Could they take the life of Cullen? Would that not end his enchantment toward those he was living among? Would that not give him the satisfaction of dying as he took from others? Was not it better to imprison him perhaps and let him watch as his home was rebuilt into what it was once before? Was the best option to take him from his place as their leader to rot as a prisoner here in the Peak? Would he even care though? Probably not. What if death were the best option to end the torment he put upon others.
"Time and again the poisonous beast takes from those he deems weaker than he. Imprisons them. This he has done to me when he bested my leader. When she came for me and freed me from his grasp; he came again. He threatened she in battle again to take my Loire and our son from me. Again he won. This is what brought us to you. He came back for a deal to leave my Loire alone if I cut a deal with he to my son joining his ranks upon being old enough. He came after those he knew could not best him and leaves us little choice but to come for help."
Goose does not want to have his son join Cullen but what if that was their only chance in the future? What if the boy turned into something grand? Should it not be his choice though if he wanted to be a part of such a poisonous life? The Lagoon was no longer a place for bachelors to train and become better. It was a harem for pathetic; sickening beasts like Cullen. Goose shakes his head as Adelheide mentioned a stallion named Rade.
"I have not gone to the other herds myself. I cannot say that I have heard of him. Should we be seeking him out?" Goose respected Valka and her want to take Cullen down. It was his want too. What if they could take everything from him by taking him from the power he was taking advantage of so freely? Was it time to put the beast in shackles to rot a prisoner? How Goose would love to see this a reality but how? Would the Peak help them? Would this Rade fellow help them? Goose doesn't rightly know yet but he is willing to wait and see. Goose has hope that things can change but sometimes it did take time even if they had so little of it to spare these days. Replies:
