...Anathema and Heartbreak, lusitano and lusitano/knabstrupper mix, who are siblings (not blood related) with trust issues who use each other as crutches rather than deal with their problems properly- there was a different backstory to this initially, but could easily be made to fit this, possibly as officers' mounts? They'd be more open and trusting to any of these characters they were already acquainted with but are fairly standoffish (or rude in Heartbreak's case) to strangers.
I also have Lazarus, who isn't joined as of yet, but is a friesian/georgian grande mix and could be anything from a carriage horse to a sport horse. He's a self-sacrificing sort who looks noble of heart on the outside but struggles with his own greed and neediness. He has some extensive scarring, especially on his face, either from the wreck or from events before it. Replies:
