PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Nekharat had returned from Luthien, the loop of thread from the wheel she had spun into motion closed—Vanya was free to do as she pleased, and Titania had returned to her rightful home, also free from the clutches of Rougaru and his abusive ways. She had even managed to visit the Forest and Persephone as Wasp had requested, and now that the red mare had done as she had promised, she could return to the Peak and meet with Wasp once again.

The red mare was not among the triad of leaders that ultimately tilted the table together in whichever direction it needed tilting, so she was careful to respect their wishes as she upheld her own values. Largely, she supported their decisions. If she did not, she would have left this place long ago and become something of a rogue warrior for the cause of equality—but she knew there was strength in the collective. After all, so much more could be accomplished together than apart.

She crossed the precipice of the Crossing into the realm of the Peak, intent on finding Wasp, but instead her gaze floated over where two blanketed stallions stood. She recognized them; the younger was a member of the Lagoon, though she was unsure if he was a captive like the rest that remained, sulking about on the mountain. The older, golden stallion, she had seen here and there, mostly keeping to himself. She had been curious about him; he carried himself differently, as though heavy stones were laden in his steps.

Nekharat let her interest carry her toward their conversation, her head held high and ears pricked forward with interest. She could not let this opportunity to learn more about the Lagoon, and the happenings of that infamous place, pass. She said nothing as she sidled alongside them, allowing their conversation to continue in earnest.
