Who would be worthier to follow - yourself? You say your ties to your brothers are strong, but evidently your loyalty to your father is stronger. Else you might have negotiated for their freedom far sooner by offering to step forward yourself.

I can certainly empathize with loyalty to a brother. That said, I find it ironic that you might dither over surrendering your opinion, whilst in the next breath handing it willingly to him.

That said, none of us are without faults or crimes - including myself. But if you leave the Peak only to stand at Cullen's side, you will be no more free there than you have been here. Make no mistake, the only opinions and loyalties he desires to see are those that benefit him...which, ultimately, makes him no different than the Peak.

Except, of course, that he is not likely to offer you anything in return for your loyalty besides more of what condemned you to imprisonment here.
