Curious eyes watch, and little fuzzy ears listen as the young colt of another goes to greet the pretty mare. She had been alone until then and he had debated on going to greet her instead. It seemed someone else had beat him to the punch. It caused him to be in a huff, stomping a little hoof and snapping his short fluffy tail around. Why couldn’t he be first?
Xiomara, noticing her son’s silent temper tantrum, looks over to him first before glancing off to see what had caused it. A soft chuckle escapes her lips before she reaches over and nudges his flank. “Go on young prince, you should introduce yourself.” she encouraged, knowing he would be safe with so many other grown mares around.
At first, Fritjof just gave his mother a sharp look, adding a snort to further show his complaint. But she was right, he was a prince! He should be able to go and intrude upon their conversation any time he wanted. Little tail still snapping around, he marched his way towards the others, though with an off-beat gait. His front right leg was not quite like the others. Slightly tilted at the knee instead of straight like the other. It did not detour him though, thinking it was perfectly natural as he had not been told differently.
“Hey” he stated as he come to stand with the two he had been watching. At first his blue eyes glance to the other colt, sizing him up, before looking to the pale mare. His young face did not change it’s expression, looking for sour than anything, since he had missed out and hadn’t quite gotten over it. “I’m Prince Fritjof. What is your name?” he asked of the mare, already having heard Rolex’s name when he had given it to the mare.
