Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He could sense Elohim's worried gaze on him as he picked his way over to the other wolf. It was weird thinking of it being dangerous just walking around in the pack lands he used to feel so safe in. Now, every day felt like a risk. But Elohim stayed where he was until Triton got closer and even dared to meet him halfway, which he appreciated. Elohim told him it was nice to see another Glorall wolf and he nodded, giving a sigh as he looked around their home. "It's hard to see it like this...but it's still home, no matter what." When he looked back at Elohim, his eyes glittered with determination. When Triton asked about his mission, he watching thoughtfully as the other male looked back to the path he was on and then back to him, seemingly lost in turmoil over what to say or do next. Triton remained still and patient, his tail gently swaying behind him as he waited for Elohim to make his decision. Then the male admitted he was looking for dens and Triton tilted his head.

"Are you worried that wolves didn't make it out and are trapped, or are you just looking at the overall damage?" Maybe it was a lot worse than he thought. Elohim then went a little more into detail after spending some time searching his face, saying he wanted everyone to be able to find their dens again. That made Triton smile as his eyes lit up. That was a nice thought. He nodded. "I know ours got hit hard. It took me and dad weeks to make it livable again." He was sure the other dens were probably in just as rough of shape. If not, worse. When Elohim asked if he would help, Triton lit up even more. He shook his head vigorously. "Nope, nothing on the agenda. I'd be glad to help. I'd like to see the wolves of Glorall come home sooner rather than later and have a home to come back to."
