Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

lady of the water.

aallotar
lady of the water

It did not take him long to find her. He floats to her, hesitant at first, but can't help but align himself to her side. Aallotar closes the gap, even as he says she should not be here. She was not here because she wanted to be. She was here for him. The thoughts she had carried in fear he would hate her for abandoning him the way she had were not wonton. He clearly held no ill-will, or he choice not to display it in his actions. "You are not an ass Fearghas. I needed to go but I don't know where else I can leave to. I could not just leave you here. I am sorry." Her voice comes rushed as she voices her guilt.

The gray mare regards the spotted stallion as he again affirms they must leave. She nods in agreement, but where would they go? Her barrel expands and contracts in frustration as she leans into Fearghas. A shiver runs her spine at the touch. This was different than before. "I will go wherever you wish to go Fearghas." She says simply. But the devil on her shoulder reminds her that Cullen will come. He will not relent. Faolain hadn't even been able to save her from the clutches of the golden brute. Faolain. The mare had offered them sanctuary. Kendry had said that just because she was 'claimed' didn't mean she had to stay here all the time. If they hurried, perhaps they could escape to the Ridge before Cullen would notice her re-entry. "Perhaps we should try the Ridge?" She suggests. It occurs to her that Fearghas is putting himself on the line for her again. Though she had not witnessed the fight between Cullen and Faolain, the golden stallion had prevailed and she wondered what would happen to Fearghas she they escape. Nothing good of course.
