~ i was born with invisible wings:

The water's wash around his ankles as he steps through the surf and onto the familiar land that was his former home. His glances to his left and his glacial eyes glue to the distant monolith of the Peak. He pauses at the edge of the surf as he allows the memories of the Peak to flow through his mind. Of his mother, Hazel, and the Peak women who had become his family - even his father comes to mind.

He shakes out his unkempt mane and steps from the froth onto the hardened sand beyond. He steps are unsure but as he finds a trail to the commons, he can feel his purpose return.

He pushes himself into a lope. His glacial eyes focus down the shore, each stride causes his heart to race faster and his lungs to breath harder. The blood begins to race in his own veins and excitement begins to vibrate his tawny hide. An excited bellow rips from between his parted lip as he thunders down the hardened sand.

He angles himself away from the surf and sea - deeper into the crossing. The hardened sand gives away to the sweeping expanse of grass. He does not slow until he crosses the imaginary line, his nostrils flare and his lungs burn. Bright glacial eyes sweep the commons until a familiar face draws a smile on his lips.

Medusa.

An excited nicker leaves his lips as he approaches the duo. "Medusa!" he nickers as he draws closer his eyes pass to the young mare beside her. He dips his head as he slides to a halt. "I am Mj�lnir," he introduces himself "If you are in need of help, I believe we can help."
