PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Not all treasure is silver and gold

He could never make it far up the mountain. It was possible he wasn’t enough in shape for the journey, but also that his confidence wouldn’t allow him the victory. It has only been the last two months that he has been successful at fighting again. He thinks he may be finally getting used to his disability. After spending months avoiding the area the Peak mares frequent, he finally makes himself known to them. Approaching Božena and Fearghas was a first big step for him to which the Peak’s new leader told him he had his freedom. Per usual, Verrat explained the reason he was here in the first place. As long as his brothers were stuck here so would he be. He could not abandon them especially since he could not save them.

A thick fog sets low on the mountain this morning as he takes the quiet morning to trek up the mountain. He wanted to see how far he could go now after a year of being stuck here. His teeth grind in frustration as he back leg locks and drags behind him for a long stride. Finally, it pops in place so he can move easier up the slope. Damn you, the whispers of the mare echoes off the mountain’s jagged walls and stops him completely. ”Me?” He asks the figure ahead, shrouded in mist. Verrat is unable to properly see what she looks like, but he knows she was a female by her scent.

Obviously, she was not talking to him, but he hadn’t been quick enough to bite his tongue. It wouldn’t be a surprise if this mare hated his guts or wanted him gone. She could toss him off the side of the slope if she really wanted to. For Ivanna’s sake and the sake of his unborn, he prayed she didn’t.
