Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Ok, he had to admit, he didn't like not having a place to truly call home. His parents wandered the crossing now and sure, there was plenty of horses to trick and harass, but as he got older, he decided he wanted something more. He wanted to get reward for his tricks. He wanted to have others who could pull a prank with him or just someone to support him. From hanging out on the crossing, the golden colt heard rumors of a place most mares seemed to fear. It was called the lagoon and apparently it was a band of stallions who raided and had fun and caused all kinds of trouble on the islands. Sounded like his kind of horses.

So Chronos waited till his parents were otherwise occupied and wandered off again, this time heading south. He heard the lagoon was this way. The colt grinned and hummed as he walked, looking forward to meeting the stallions and seeing what they thought of him. He knew he was young, but he would be turning two in just a few months and then he would really be able to apply himself. He would start sparring and stealing too. He would be able to harass to his own delight. Surely, they would welcome him.

His parents wouldn't take so kindly to him being here, that's for sure. His father wasn't shy about voicing his disagreement with the way they treat mares. He adored Chronos' mother and always worried about someone trying to take her. Chronos rolled his green eyes at the thought. His mother should be able to take care of herself. She was big enough. He would be too, soon enough. If a mare put herself in a vulnerable position, maybe she should be taught a lesson. It was all just games, at the end of the day. And he wanted to play every one.

The landscape changed and soon enough he could pick out scents of other stallions. Seems the rumors might be true, after all. The colt stopped and pawed the ground impatiently, throwing his head up with a whinny to announce himself. Now, who would come to tell him about the place?
