Trump's Handling of the Virus Pandemic

I just heard a statement on NBC News to the effect that Trump has done absolutely nothing to combat the virus pandemic.
That's a pretty strong statement.
Doing a google search to try to further check out this allegation, I came across the below-linked article.
Based upon that article, it looks like NBC is overstating the case when it says that Trump has done absolutely nothing to fight the virus.
Instead, it looks like a more accurate statement would be that Trump was too slow in recognizing the seriousness of the virus and then taking steps to do something about it.
