There are many stars in the sky

The islands were constantly changing so she did not know if her grandfather still led a herd here or not. It felt like ages since she has stepped a hoof into Paradise. The familiar palms and the way of the land brought back familiar memories of her childhood. Back then she had no clue what was going on between her parents. Mother would be around for a while then suddenly disappear, leaving her with her father. Then father was stolen by Xiomara. Mother and herself were traded to the Lagoon where a stallion claimed to love mother. He was strong and had status so grandfather must have thought he would be able to protect them much better than Angel could. He was so wrong.

For some time, she was angry at Rougaru. This was one of the reasons she has not come back here. Meeting Xiomara, seeing how good she was to father and how strong she was which gave Galexia direction. She wanted to be a warrioress Queen like Xiomara. She wanted to be in control and win the loyalty and love of her herd. She tried to accomplish this by taking the Desert, but her experience was much different than her fantasies. She hated it there, but she made a good friend in Cain. He was a suitable stallion for his herd and she wished she could be his Queen, but the Desert was too harsh for her to live in. Galexia preferred this island of Atlantis above the others.

Though she has never been to Luthien she assumes it couldn’t be any better than where she already was. The Shore was her decided home as she continued to watch Xiomara and be close to her father whom seemed to have feeling for the Queen. She could be near them both, but now things have changed. Xiomara has abandoned them and some young stallion has taken her place. Now she had to choose to stay or find somewhere else to go. She heard of another newcomer in the Harbor which seemed like a good place to venture, but first it was time to reunite with her grandfather. There were important things he needed to know.

Finding him among the jungle, she calls to him. ”It has been awhile grandfather,” she says with a soft smile. ”I have a daughter now, but I have left her back in the Shore as I travel around Atlantis to decide our next move. Xiomara has gone, but I’m sure you have heard this news.” Her white tail flips awkwardly behind her. A sigh leaves her lips as her brown gaze moves to their surroundings. ”I was so angry when you sent mother and I away to the Lagoon. I know that was a long time ago, but it has taken me this long to forgive you.”
