tisi && mega
To say that Mega was irritated that Tisi dared speak up, was an understatement. Tisiphone knew better than to dare speak out of turn. The girl was asking to get her ass bit when they were alone. Mega glared at her younger sibling out of the corner of her eye, the rage bubbling under her skin. The fact that Tisi spoke was a shocking feat, but she was opening up about things that Mega didn’t even know about. How was that fair? That she’d tell complete strangers what she couldn’t tell her only living sibling?! The pang in Mega’s heart ached all too knowingly. She spoke of how she wanted a new home, but not one that was like their old home. Whereas, that was all Mega could think about, because lets be honest, leaving home never felt like a good idea, and she missed Ale, and wanted nothing more than to be where she could remember their ‘perfect’ sister.
Tisi could feel Mega’s eyes boring into her skull. But she ignored it. Knowing that it would do absolutely no good. Watching the pair in front of them, knowing that it would lead to them most likely parting ways, but for some reason, that was okay with Tisi. She was ready to branch out on her own. Tisi listened to Riviani speak, talking of their home on Atlantis. It sounded, mystical almost. Mysterious and even wonderful at that. She went on to describe the place as the Ridge, it made Tisi wonder just what areas to expect when she came. “Is it possible to come and visit before I make a decision? I think I’d like to stay, but I’d like to see it first.” Tisiphone spoke softly, not daring to look at her sister, knowing how her face must look.
Megaera was shocked to say the least, knowing that Tisiphone was willing to leave her, just like that. This would not be an easy thing to deal with, that was for sure. But, maybe it was for the best. They seemed to bring out the worst in each other every time they were with one another. Even if it would break Mega’s heart if Tisi really left. Mega let out a slow sigh, not bothering to speak up, knowing there wasn’t going to be any changing Tisi’s mind. But, lord knows she’ll be giving her an earful later when their company wasn’t around.
