Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Tyr was not far away, and Kiraz beamed up at him in pride as his towering form found her through the dense trees. His praise made her blush, ducking her head to groom the pale colt at her feet as though to hide the bashful heat on her cheeks. Not that it was visible beneath her red fur, either way. ”Thank you,” she said against the colt’s soft fur. She raised her honey eyes back up to him, considering him for a moment.

Though Tyr had done nothing to cause her mistrust so far, Kiraz was still wary of him to some extent. After her delirium on the beach had worn off, she realized she had been essentially whisked away by a giant whom she could never hope to escape if he turned out to be cruel. This had made her nervous, but Tyr had given her enough space that she was comfortable in the Lagoon, which helped her calm down and settle. She was both clingy and apprehensive around him - she wanted him to be near, but not too near. It never bothered her that often he returned smelling like another mare, although a few times she thought she smelled blood on him, and tried not to think about that. It was mostly that she knew instinctively that Tyr was capable of violence, even if he never turned on her, and it took her until the birth of Vanir to come to terms with it.

Now, after watching him for a few moments in shy silence, she ushered him close to meet his son. She did not believe he would hurt her, but more than that she knew he would not harm his own son. She trusted the pride that gleamed in his expression, and she reached out to him with her delicate red muzzle to invite him closer. ”His name is Vanir,” she said. Gently, she prodded the colt’s hindquarters, and he stumbled toward Tyr. Huge, baby-blue eyes peered up at the painted stallion, and Vanir reached for his towering father with a delicate, pale muzzle. Abruptly, the colt sneezed in Tyr’s face, and Kiraz could not keep herself from laughing.
