Hi Lance, mate thanks for your suggestion of placing my name in the hat for Patron of the AAA. However, at the age of 74 I am much to young to be the Patron of anything. I do believe that one of the "elder" gents mentioned would be far better suited. Although we all did our "bit" in the early stages at AMTDU and squadron level in the initial AA training, I think that Wayne West is ideally suited to assume the position of Patron of the Airman Aircrew Association.
