He felt that as time wore on, the sisters were getting more comfortable in his presence and that warmed his heart. He didn't want anyone to be uncomfortable around him, least of all such friendly mares as these. He knew not all stallions were as friendly without being too forward or out for something, but he genuinely believed in making new friends and gaining new alliances throughout the islands. It wasn't about growing a herd for him, just connections.

When he mentioned the Prairie, Eadaz perked up first, saying they live in the Forest and their father used to rule the Prairie. His ears pricked as he tilted his head in curiosity. "Do you mean Shamwari, or someone before him? He was the leader when I first came to the Prairie." He offered.

They seemed just as interested in his first home as well, Salem. Eadaz asked what it was like and he smiled, his gold-brown eyes lighting up at the thought of home. "Dry and sandy. It's mostly desert on that island, but there's beautiful palm trees and the water is cool and clear. There's also lots of fruit trees like dates and such. They taste really sweet and good. There's sand dunes and gold as far as the eye can see and pretty caves to cool off in if you know where to look."

He glanced toward Sabran as he spoke, making sure she was still okay with where he was in relation to them and their conversation. At the first sign of discomfort, he would take a step back if needed. She told him his stripes were unusual then even offered for them to run into each other again some time. He smiled and nodded. "I'd like that. The Prairie is beautiful with lots of room to run, but the herd is very scattered since Shamwari left. My mother and most of her family has left, it seems, so I might be returning home to Salem for a while, at least until I figure out where else I might want to go."
