He could tell the girls were glad to hear their father was missed in the Prairie. He watched them exchange a look and his own softened in understanding. Maybe some day he'd be the one sharing a glance with a sibling while hearing all the best things about their father, too. He told them to come visit the Desert any time and his eyes twinkled when Eadaz seemed eager to do just that, saying they'd come visit some time.

When he spoke of Persephone, he could see their attention was peaked and he wondered before he even asked if she was indeed their mother. When Sabran confirmed as much, he smiled in wonder. He nodded. "Only briefly, but it left an impression on my father that he won't soon forget." Her sister teased about it being a small world and Akello couldn't help but chuckle with a nod. "Sure is."

At Eadaz's sudden offer to join them, Akello couldn't help but glance at her more shy sister as if asking permission before he answered. He didn't want to take the offer if it would make her uncomfortable in any way. When she smiled and added on that he could if he didn't have anywhere else to be, he couldn't help but beam from ear to ear, glad to have her approval as he looked back at Eadaz and nodded. "I would like that. I have absolutely nowhere else I need to be." He gave eagerly in answer before stepping in with them to go wherever it was their paths took them next.
