Cypress

Cypress picked up a delicate teacup, turning it over in her hands before setting it back down on the shelf with the rest of the matching set. She heaved a sigh - this wasn't the right gift either. She and Nerissa had gotten an early start that morning - Bohdi and Poppy's wedding date was fast approaching, not that they'd given everyone much time in the first place, and they'd been tasked with picking out the perfect gift from the Destras; everyone also had a small something for the couple, but they'd wanted to present something bigger from the family and the Dragon as a whole. After all, Poppy and Bohdi's family had clicked right in with theirs, as if it'd been meant to be, and it was only natural that they wanted to do something big to celebrate the special day.

"Any luck?" she raised her voice slightly, popping into the next aisle where Nerissa studied a shelf of antiques. "Oooh, this would be perfect for Olive, wouldn't it?" She picked up a small tea chest, decorated with deep blues and greens. She flipped it over to study the pricetag, sighing a little. "I'll have to come back for it later."

She set the chest back on the shelf and backed away to stand next to Nerisa, one balled fist on her hip as she scowled at the shelf in front of them. "Whyyy must they be so hard to shop for?!"
