PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

He'd sent them away.

Her skin prickled in the Autumn air. Aallotar had never visited the Peak. Likely due to it's closeness to the Lagoon. It seemed everytime she found peace, her life was shuffled around again, but this time, it was due to Fearghas. The little filly they had created was oblivious to the world they lived in. Aallotar would keep it that way, even if her mood bristled on the verge of no return from the never-ending frustration she felt for Fearghas. At this point, she was not sure she could forgive him for sending them away out of fear of Cullen. It was a hard thing to consider as Fearghas had been her only companion from the time she had arrived to the Islands. Her only friend, her only love. The steel grey mare had become reclusive, a charcteristic that wasn't hers in the beginning. Once loud and outspoken, she had withdrawn into herself. She pauses a moment to reflect on her face in a puddle on the ground. She doesn't recognize who she sees. The dark mare that stares back at her, gazes at her with tired, lifeless eyes. All she'd known for what felt like a lifetime now, was running. When did they stop running? When would Seri enjoy a life? She averts her gaze to the filly, offering her a nuzzle. Seri protests at the touch, a now more boistrous weanling than the newborn she had been before. It felt like ages had passed since her birth.

She does not call out at their arrival. She instead shrinks and prefers to keep her distance. Unforunately she could already tell that the winters of the Peak were going to be much colder than her previous winter elsewhere. The air was thicker, due to the change in elevation. The background offered very little: craggy rocks and vast, foreboding, mountainscapes. The highest peaks revealed blankets of snow, while others disappeared into the clouds. Seri nudges her, clearly bored with her mother's lack of vocals. "Mother, where are we? Where is da?" Seri's little voice reminded her of Fearghas again. Picking up on his shortened accent. She gazes at the young filly. "We are at the Peak." She doesn't answer Seri's question about Fearghas. She just doesn't know how to answer it right now.
