turn men into beasts

Unlike the previous heated season, Tyr had not left the lagoon as often as he had expected. Things had kept him entertained, to say the least, but that only distracted him for so long. When the golden stallion finally broke free of the confines of his home, he had thrown himself to the sea as if it called to him with a siren’s song. He did not care which island he swam too, only that he found something different, something that would help to break his mind from the constant thrum of his life.

Large hooves pull the giant from the water’s grasp and onto the sandy shores of Atlantis. It had been awhile since he had visited the tropical island, but the sights never failed to impress him. Rather than seek out the herd, or rather, a straying mare; Tyr strode into the vegetation without a thought to the residence. Only that he enjoyed the view of the colorful birds and dense greenery that could be found no where else.

What startled Tyr from his gawking was a snort nearby. It stopped him in his tracks, head turning and ears perking as he tried to pinpoint it. The stallion saw and heard nothing else. The soft sandy soil helping to muffle the sounds of hoof fall. With a shake of his large head, his thick mane dancing upon his muscled neck, he advanced towards where he had heard the sound. Only, as he reached the stagnant pool of water, he is only greeted with the scent of mare and the darkened sand where her tracks were made. No matter, he could not find reason to be disappointed.

Not noticing the real creature that had spooked the mare away as the reptile had once again hidden itself, Tyr carried on with his sight seeing, not bothering to approach anyone else.
