Corzan had not expected anyone to approach him. Though his eyes had lingered longingly on the others dotting the land, wishing he could find his own home. Only the unexpected happening brought him out of his darkening thoughts, his eyes turning to the stallion that now stood before him. The pattern upon his lean hide had the fuzzy pony confused, only to be thrown further down that hole when the stranger spoke. He could barely place what Fearghas had said, but at least he had gathered that much and that he was from the Savanna. Which island did that land belong too?
Before he could introduce himself, his lips barely beginning to part to utter the words, another stallion approached. Corzan quickly snapped his mouth closed, his fuzzy ears twisting in an uncertain manner. Though the golden eyes of the pale stallion lingered on him briefly, it was clear he had approached for this Fearghas fellow. Nothing of what the roan man said was directed at him, so Corzan took a step back and then another. Even though the two stallions had approached him, the conversation that had been started between the two clearly left him out. Corzan felt like the intruder now.
Feeling as if neither would notice at this point, Corzan turned away from the two without uttering a single word. No, he did not know where he was at, as Fearghas had asked. But he gathered it wasn’t good by the tone he had used. So, the pony stallion would need to keep going, to find some place that would surely be safer. But from what? He passed a glance back at the two, but continued walking, not knowing what else he was supposed to do.
