Therewas a dedication ceremony and our Ernie Evans '54 attended
Our Ernie got his apointment because he was a son of a Medal of Honor Winner. Ernie was a courageous Marine as a infantry Battalion commander in
Vietnam, an retired honorably, and attended many class reunions and helped Jess Owen to run one. He was a great classmate he proved "The apple does not falll far from the tree." THe book sits on my shelf is " The Battle of Leytev Gulf 23-26 October 1944 by Thomas J.Cutler Bluejacket Books paper back, Replies: There have been no replies.
