They came quite close to the road, and I could easily see the black knob on the bill, and lots of orange on the bills, but both bills looked mottled, orange with some black. I wonder if this is a normal variation or if there's some chance they've got a wild swan in their ancestry.
I'll try to look for them again today. I don't have the capacity to take photos, though. Replies: There have been no replies.
