As Tyr prowled through the undergrowth, his mind was distracted while his skin crawled with need. The violence he had brought to the islands since arriving here had become only a smoldering ember, needing a fresh wave of air to bring it back to it’s full glorious flame. It seemed today was his lucky day, as Dara’s scent suddenly intruded on his lungs. The stallion stopped at first. His crown rising so that his multicolored eyes could be cast around. But the foliage was still too thick despite the season change. With a snort and a tail lash, Tyr was able to bring himself from his thoughts and into the present as he went on a much needed hunt.
As he drew closer, the perfume becoming stronger, it was the sudden beat of drumming hooves that alerted the stallion that he had given himself away to his prey. But instead of running away, the sound was coming closer until she burst free of the brush and collided with him. The unexpected flesh on flesh caused the stallion to squeal his displeasure, the momentum rocking him a few steps over. But given his size, it was not like when they were younger, and Dara had managed to throw him to the ground.
“Are you done casting your venom onto the islands?” Tyr sneered at her, his head reaching around so that his teeth and tongue could taste the flesh upon her neck. “I was starting to get jealous.” The brute growled, swinging back around so that he could push himself forward, aiming to make her stumble in turn. Yet, as he did so, another scent reached him. One that made him smile a wicked grin. “You’ve been hiding something that belongs to me.” he accused before he turned away from the mare, following the trail she had taken to reach him to try and find the foal.
