Nerves tried to overtake him. Aries was still a colt in the eyes of most stallions, especially ones with their own families and herds. He assumes Cain would see him the same way, but he still had to put his heart out there. Aries had a whole lifetime ahead of him full of experiences. If this was to become his start he would take it without looking back, but if not he would accept that too. Dad had not had much time to show him how it all works or even how to lead a herd.
His breathing quiets as Cain begins to speak. Brown ears tilt towards the large stallion as he explains his answer. It was not a no, but also not a yes. Thankfully, Aries feels some inspiration from the stallion’s words. As Cain finishes, the young stallion nods his head with energy. He feels excitement to have this opportunity laid out before him like this. ”Absolutely,” he exclaims with a bright smile. The shifting of his body suggest he can no longer hold in his newfound energy. He was ready to get started! ”Thank you so much for this opportunity Cain. You will not regret it even if I am not ready to be a second I will still be a good addition to your herd.” He takes in a big breath before continuing.
”Let me know the next time you need something, but for now I think it is time I go introduce myself to the herd.” Without giving Cain much time to respond, the young stallion is using his long legs to race across the Desert to make new friends.
