Queen's University Belfast is hosting a virtual conference this summer for those who are interested in perusing a career in clinical ophthalmology or visual science.
Over two days (3-4 July), it will have informative talks from consultant ophthalmologists about their sub-specialties. As well, there will be a showcase of cutting edge visual research from QUB.
Delegates can also submit an abstract for presentation of delegates own work.
The majority or courses/conferences aimed at medical students and junior doctors are very expensive. The university is sponsoring this conference so it absolutely free of charge for anyone that would like to attend. The undergraduate lead for Royal College of Ophthalmologist, Dr Williams, is lending his support.
