Lots to consider, more than finances... Medical facilities, closeness to relatives (although this can be a plus and a minus!) where you feel comfortablee.. For instance..New Hampshire ranks very high on the desirability list...however I don' know a living soul there and it is at the opposite end of where my "families" are.
Choose wisely, you seldom can afford a second chance.
