Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Menkhet
i'm glad i learned that the universe
runs on death - it's more
beautiful to know.

The dark fem watched as Arius drew shelter from the Sea King but Menkhet focused on the king himself. An ear contemplated drawing back at the mans defiance though she would hear him out. She still caught a glimpse of the child, an ear folded back but intently listening. It was almost curious that he hadn't scurried of somewhere out of view. At least he hadn't yet and so she chose to focus on Elohim and his negotiations. He made an understandable compromise and yet she was more of an insatiable creature than even the Sea King might account for though it came with a mutual stand.

Shifting her gaze over Elohim's body before meeting his gaze once more she spoke, "If you wouldn't like a full claim in the child, perhaps you could exchange his place." Menkhet's bodice turned in such a way to prevent Elohim from pressing onward but her teeth lashed out to grab and rake his ear should he not move. The way she had kept her body was in invitation. Should he had feared a fight the fem would have never exposed her side to him, however she would permit his teeth to rake her scruff in a mutual agreement. "Ours." She purred casting his words back to him. It was simply the mutual sharing of knowledge and perhaps bonding more than the simple tit-for-tat politics and shallow friendships.

Her offer was more than she would extend to any other pack and very few and far between to individuals. Should he reject her offer she would contemplate her actions for a moment however, for now she would drink in the knowledge that he was willing to share. "Demons and Angles, It sounds like a tale for pups, though I am inclined to listen and it seems the boy is as well." Menkhet's opalescent gazed cast to the child who bared a fang at her before she raised a brow at him. Her gaze searching the crimson pools of Elohim's.

He commented on her own language and a shrill giggle escaped her maw. "That is for you to decide O' King mine. Though perhaps I shall teach you some day if you are ever so inclined. As for the boy, I would hardly consider that a hunt. A snack perhaps but worthwhile...no." Menkhet moved to circle the pair Arius drawing his teeth back but finding himself between his fathers paws. Rounding to face Elohim once more she nipped at the flesh just below his jaw in a playful manner. "Are you willing to get you paws dirty O' King mine? Send the child away, or at least out from your feet to a few lengths from us should he really wish to linger." As much as the dark fem respected him, unless he wanted their marked one harmed it was best he sent him from beneath them for a hunt or a tango, or an exploration of sorts.
