*Eye Color: The right eye is a warm burnt umber with a starburst of molten gold from the pupil, the left eye is a pale blue, almost white, that darkens around the outer edge
*Appearance: At the shoulder, Jiro stands at thirty-six inches with broad shoulders, a strong neck, and defined muscle throughout his figure. During more bountiful seasons he can top out at a weight of one-hundred and eighty-three pounds. His coat is thick, almost uncomfortably so even in the summer, and of medium length throughout his body. It lays nicely against his torso to show his musculature but becomes a bit of a mess around his neck, chest, and underbelly.
The base of each hair is a dark, warm gray that fades to a deep black at the tip, creating a dynamic look to his visage. Areas where the hair lays flat appear solid black unless ruffled, but his tail and the messier areas of his body showcase this two-toned look.
Personality: At his core, Jiro is a big, sensitive softie. but with all these emotions comes a type of volatility that most do not expect. These emotions take the form of burdens more often than not. He attempts to see things from all sides and likes to weigh things on the scale in his mind, not wanting to miss a detail that could sway his opinion or decision. At times he can come off as passive-aggressive or a bit too brutally honest. Despite this seemingly more introverted nature, Jiro is one who can be proud, expressive, idealistic, and somewhat self-centered. Because of this energy, he communicates rather confidently and articulately. But he often needs a good amount of validation or love from others to feel worth something.
History: He was the only surviving pup from an unfortunate flood that took over his family's den during a thunderstorm. Jiro grew up as the only offspring of his parents as they did not attempt to conceive again after the tragedy. His socialization was limited to his mother, father, and any relatives who happened to come through the area. The family unit kept to themselves for years until Jiro decided it would be best for him to head out on his own and carve a path for himself. Being somewhat sheltered, he's discovering that the world is a lot bigger than he first imagined.
