He could feel the tension from the dark Teke mare. He had certainly invaded her space, and he knew he should keep his distance. Her greeting to him is gruff at best. A bemused look graces his features briefly. "I am sorry. I have never been to these parts of the Islands." He offers her. He really meant no harm. He watches her as she releases her dark little offspring. His claustrophia abates him a moment but he could feel it setting in again. Being tangled on the vines of the jungle was not where he wanted to be.

Isak wouldn't go so far as to say he didn't like children. But he could agree they weren't really his "thing." As the young filly approached him, he could feel the anxiety mounting. She stretched her little muzzle to him in curiousity. His eyes widened at her little face. Imagine him, a rather burly stallion, afraid of a tiny filly. Slowly he outstretched his neck offering her a little wuffle of breath before hastily retreating back within himself. His gaze moved to her mother. "I am Isak." He offers her his name, hoping it will appeal to her a little. "Not to be bothersome, but could we move out of this ghastly little hiding hole we've found ourselves in?" He suggested. He tries to lift his hind leg, snagged in the green vines of the jungle floor. He swore to himself as he pulled against it. He must be a fickle sight. Finally freed, he makes an attempt to make a wide circle around the mare, not wanting to invade her space. He knew, even at his young age, the a mares kick could certainly hurt more than another expected. He turns back to the pair, his head tucking a bit to his chest. "Are you coming?"
