Deathscythe Hell continues his journey at a leisurely pace. He hadn't exactly been invited into the other parklands and showing up on their doorstep could be considered intrusive to say the least. He did not want to make a name for himself by kicking down the door and shouting hello. His short time in Diveen had demonstrated to him that his body was on the larger size for their species and his mere presence could be considered a threat to some. Black nostrils inhale the cool musky air as he enters the woodlands. He enjoyed the soothing embrace of the shadows and the soft leaflitter mulching between his toes. He pauses to look around him. He watches with delight as the sunlight dances across the foliage before making the silver hairs of his pelt sparkle. “Wow,” he utters softly, as his eyes watch smaller birds and squirrels flitter and jump between the branches above him.

This place, it felt, almost like home. Diveen was lovely, but the terrain was a little exposed for his liking. The bird song is accompanied by a silken laugh that softly echoes through the trees. DeathScythe Hell’s soft blue eyes fall upon a strange figure meandering in his direction. Tilting his head to one side he wonders if she was coming to see him. A smile spreads across his black lips and his tail sways gently behind him in greeting. Maybe this wolf was an envoy, or maybe a guide. She keeps walking towards him and his heart starts to sink for a moment. Was she going to walk right past him? Had she even noticed he was there? He parts his jaws slightly, about to say something to her but then she almost bumps right into his shoulder. The smaller female appears to quickly snap out of whatever trance she was in. Well that answered his question, no, she hadn’t seen him.

His mystical eyes opened wide and flashed with concern as she backed off. He was bigger than her, and younger, he didn’t want to frighten her away. Her whole body starts to shake and wiggle, like an excited bumble bee. For a few moments, he stares at her, clearly confused. Why was she apologizing? He wasn’t hurt. She’s kind of cute. He thinks to himself and his confounded expression stretches into a big grin. Her pelt was very striking, and he must admit, he liked what he saw. His tail is now lashing from side to side to match her energy. She had an infectious personality, and he was allowing himself to be caught in the moment and enjoy it.

“It’s quite alright, my lady,” he dips his head to her. His own low gravelly voice still sounded foreign to him in the open air. He coughs to clear his throat and dispel some of the awkwardness that was starting to make his chest feel tight. Briefly he turns his attention to the direction behind him. Back towards the rolling meadows. “Is there something out there that has made you afraid?” He questions turning his gentle dark face back towards her. “You don’t really want to walk that way? Do you?” Deathscythe Hell was never going to be the sharpest tool in the shed, but he had seen the reluctance in her absent green eyes. He wasn’t going to pry into her business, but he couldn’t simply do nothing. “Would you like to walk with me? At least for a little while?” He offers gently. Maybe, he could give her some strength by simply being there for a few hours.
