Phantom in the Storm

Callahan couldn't tell weather he had simply been fortunate to find someone who was level headed or if the nip had simply shocked her so. No matter which the case, it was reassuring once she chose to speak over lash out. Her tones like music to his ears, he considered her question for a brief moment. "In truth It was very commonplace for my homeland as I assume it such here. While I cannot speak for others, I would hate to see someone whisk away such a beautiful woman to some dark island. Some place she couldn't come and go freely when she desired. Please forgive me if I was too rough of course. The name is Callahan, it is a pleasure to meet you." He offered a half bow in respect and some showman ship. All things considered he wanted to make a good impression.

Lifting is blue gaze once more he offers a content smile. "I would love to get to know you, perhaps you would like to linger here or maybe our home would be more to your liking?" He positioned himself to her side hoping to let her pass should she choose to explore with him or head home. The more raw side of him wished to brush his muzzle against her neck and press into her though he withheld himself from being so brazen. "Where do you come from, these islands or perhaps others? Oh and I don't think I caught your name, Miss?" He left the question lingering as he danced between extending his muzzle to her and remaining more restrained until he felt as though his blood was ablaze.

Lowering his head towards he offered his muzzle to her, it was a softer invitation. While perhaps he wasn't the finessed stallion of all the islands, he chose to carry himself proudly for her inspection. Ears drawn towards her with softness in his features, Callahan made his finest attempt to be the exceptional gentleman. Considering their size discrepancies and her seemingly softer nature, the balance between boldly trying to flatter and trying not to overwhelm her was a find line he had rarely taken the time to navigate. With time he was determined to get the hang of it, he just prayed she felt patient.
