He loved how much Cerosi was starting to come out of her shell and how she was actively seeking him out. He wondered if she was beginning to learn how much she was truly capable of. As her teeth found his withers, the stallion sighed in contentment and dropped his head, feeling relaxed at her touch. He moved to do the same to her after a moment, gently raking his teeth across her own withers and using the quiver of her skin or the feel of her leaning against him or pulling away as a sign for when to go more gentle or harder in certain places. She teased about the girls listening as well as any foals and he chuckled under his breath. Then she said she was fine and he smiled. "Glad to hear it. I'm sure they'll grow out of it eventually...maybe in 4-5 years?" He added with a small smirk. As she moved to apologize, saying she hoped they weren't under his hooves, he chuckled again and shook his head with a soft snort. "I enjoy every bit of their attention. Those dogs won't ever be back to cause trouble." He almost growled the last of the words, hating the idea that anyone threatened his herd and family. At her question, his expression sobered a little. "I've been better." He admitted in a soft tone, sighing at he glanced at his hooves before meeting her gaze again. "I'll make it better, though, one way or another." Determination entered his voice as he said it. He wouldn't rest till things were made right again.
