Fiero hunting down Marceline would honestly be great. She would be SO ANNOYED if he somehow managed to just keep finding her. Like "leave me alone, you've ruined me" because if she's not being dramatic then she's dead. But I could also see her being flattered that Fiero would go to such lengths to wrangle her back to the Dunes. If he were to stop trying for whatever reason she'd be slightly annoyed, kind of sad (but wouldn't admit that out loud) and might consider, after enough time, being the one to go to him instead of the other way around. Just an idea ;)
As for Bastien... would it be cruel to traumatize him that much from birth? xD I'm still torn between having him be adopted and end up totally hating Marcy (thanks to her ignoring him growing up and probably from Switch crap-talking her a lot LOL), or having him stay with Marcy but end up hating her anyway (because she'd be a terrible mother, let's be real, doing the bare minimum and taking her frustration at being forced to be a mother out on Fiero). I think either way it'd be possible for him to end up seeing Switch as kind of a second mom, because even if she disliked him she'd probably treat him better than Marcy. Poor kid.
