This might be too much for her to handle. Obviously Thea was fragile, much too fragile to be a mother. He had gotten lost in the moment that fateful fall day. It must have been more than she could handle and he should have known. Finding his daughters on the beach that day was utterly heartbreaking. He had not known the status of their mothers. They could have been captured for all he knew, but seeing Thea returned...and like this...he knew. She had left them. Just like Feray had left them. Nova had left them. Desdemona, Lucifina, Daphine, the only one left was Creed. She didn't deserve the shell of the stallion that was left for her.

Heavy eyes draw to Thea's delicate face. She was more beautiful than he remembers her being. The mare was obviously older, but was her mind changed? Did she feel sorry for leaving them? She mentions her father always complaining how taxing it was being a lead stallion. Roheryn though about quitting many times before, but he refused to give up for his family. He built them a safe home that he feircly protected. He could only keep it up for so long. There was a time he dreamed as a young boy about everything he accomplished. He strived to be a leader like Shamwari, but he was not the great red stallion.

Roheryn watches the emotion on Thea's face as she asks about Vana. "She is.." Just as he started to answer her question someone yells to them in the distance. "Dad!" Roheryn turns to see Felarof racing towards them. The milky white of his second eldest son could easily be picked out in the crowd. Fela calls to his father multiple times as he rushes to get to him. The young stallion slids to a stop with worry all over his face. He breathes heavily before forcing the words out. "I had to get everyone to safety!" He exclaims. Roheryn shoots a quick glance to Thea before turning his eyes back to his son, his face serious. "What do you mean?"

Felarof takes a couple more deep breaths before he answers. "I have no idea where mother is..or Ajnur or my sisters...but a strange stallion came into our home and claimed it. I got everyone I could find out and got them to the Forest. I'm sorry dad." Roheryn grows quiet as he looks to the ground. He knows exactly where Feray went with the girl's, but he knew they would be safe. Not where he wanted them to be, but safe. The relationship they once shared would never be again. "I'm sorry dad." Fela says again, but Roh shakes his head. His eyes lift to look at his young son. "You did everything I taught you to do. Thank you for keeping the herd safe. Please, go back to them. The Forest was a good choice and you should stay there with them and keep them safe. Thea was just asking about Vana. Would you take her to your sister?"

Fela nods though you could see some confusion on his face. Roheryn believes in this moment this would be the best thing. Vana deserves to know her mother. She deserves to be with her until she is old enough to care for herself. Roheryn turns back to Thea. "It seems our home in the Badlands is now gone." He sighs. "But everyone is gathering in the Forest for safety. Please follow Felarof back to the Forest to be with Vana." The look in his eyes was of deep pain. "Thea I care so deeply about you, but you left us. You left me." He glances away for a moment before his eyes return to her. "Vana deserves to know who you are. She deserves to know the care and love you once showed me. You are so gentle Thea. Our daughter needs that in her life."

"Please tell Creed I am sorry. She has been the only one to stay through everything. She deserves so much better." Fela shifts his weight uncomfortably behind his father. Without another word, Roheryn walks past Thea and continues in the opposite direction without looking back at his family. The color leaves Fela's face as he watches his father walk away. His attention turns to Thea. "What do we do?"
