Hades silence frustrates her just as much now as it had in the Ridge. Not because she blamed him - she knew, just as they all did, what had happened - but because she wanted so desperately for him to feel better. They may not have shared any blood ties, but he was just as much her younger sibling as was Zvaid or Aoife, or any of the other dozens of children that had made their way through the Ridge recently. She couldn't fix him, and for the girl that did all the fixing, it was a conundrum that drove her crazy.

Still, she is glad that he does not snap at her. From the extra seconds Roisin now had of observing the pretty pale girl, she was fairly certain that any aggressive act on Hades' part would have sent her spiraling away in fear, even if it hadn't been directed at her.

Finch, too, seems eager and her acceptance sends a flush of delight all over Roi's body. She cannot hide the grin that spreads across her lips like wildfire. Not only could she show them the Peak, but she could even cheer Iscariot up. Immediately, Roi began to wonder if it would be too childish of them to all grab a leaf or late autumn flower to take to him. The girl's question breaks her from her thoughts, and for better or worse, she misunderstands the question, taking it to mean that she was asking about the rulers of the Peak… not its residents. "Right," she said brightly, offering an encouraging smile.

At the stranger's pained acquiescence, Roi giggles and turns already ready to lead them back the way she'd come. The mare's question shocks her though, and she turns with surprise back to her, doing her best to tamp down the bossy streak that made her want to scold the pale mare for trying to exclude Hades. "Of course he is," she forces an uneasy chuckle before tilting her head as if the question itself was baffling. "Hades is family too."

As if suddenly aware of how this might look to a stranger, Roi's gaze darts over the sullen and silent boy with his pretty silver companion and then back to the pale mare. Perhaps Hades seemed intimidating in his somber silence to those who didn't know him. Ears flicking rapidly backwards and then forwards, she shakes her head. "I promise, he won't hurt you." He used to bite, she thought to herself with some sadness, despite how frustrated the mouthy colt used to make her.

And then, employing the same tactic she did with the foals when there was a topic too grown-up or too sad that Roi didn't feel like discussing… the red-gold mare turned, tail up and trotted forward with a command to follow. "Come on then, I can't wait to show you!"
