She didn't know what she expected when she told Skyfire about who and what she was. Would she run? Would she tell Nissa how wrong she was to think they could be friends? Would she look at her in disgust and tell her she was an abomination? Nissa waited for all her nightmares to come true, for all the accusations and judgement. But when it didn't come, she looked back at Skyfire, unsure what to think. The other female had stopped mid stride on her confession about killing, but instead, she looked at her in curiosity. When Skyfire suddenly grinned, Nissa tilted her head with a confused scowl. What was she grinning about? She couldn't possibly be happy about her confessing to killing others. But then Skyfire spoke and Nissa's head snapped up, ears pricked as she listened. The last thing they saw?
"So, like an assassin?" She couldn't help the intrigue in her voice. Skyfire said they weren't so different and Nissa couldn't help but frown in skepticism. They sure seemed pretty different. The female before her was all happy and believed in doing something right in the world. Then Skyfire mentioned her grandfather and she perked up. A cannibal? She couldn't help but wonder if he knew her father or even her own grandparents. They were known to be loners, though, so probably not. Nissa kept listening as the other female spoke, saying how her mother and siblings formed the group to bring balance. She started to name them and Nissa couldn't help but lean in a little, intrigued by how powerful they sounded, legendary even. Her gaze found Skyfire again. "Why me?" She didn't feel nearly as powerful as those wolves. How could she make a difference?
