This was it. He was really doing it. He was going back to the Desert, but not to stay. Glancing around, Carbon looked for the gold and white stallion who should be meeting him momentarily so they could make the swim. Was it weird that he was nervous? He should be happy. He was probably going to see his father again, maybe even his brothers. Did they think about him at all? He shifted his weight as he waited and when the stallion approached, he tipped his head respectfully. "I know you said to tell you where, but I figured...what about the present? Let's go now." His ears pricked as he waited for the stallion's answer. Once Rade gave the okay, Carbon eagerly took to the water. He was excited to get back, but he knew Rade probably wouldn't swim as fast so he kept his pace light, checking on the Lagoon leader on and off to make sure he was keeping pace okay. When they finally reached the shores of the Desert, he took a deep breath and shook out his coat. It smelled just the same. A smile broke out across his lips before he could help it and his tail lifted a little with happiness. It still smelled like his father and his family. His home. Glancing over at his guest, Carbon tilted his head. "Welcome to the Desert. So, what next? Do you want me to call for Cain or just want me to start the tour?" He was still trying to get a read on the other stallion. What exactly was his motivation for wanting to come here? Was it just to meet his father and see his world or was there some ulterior motive?
