Still getting the odd porn post but I'm trying to keep on top of it. It's difficult to keep a 24-hour watch on the message board. A few years ago, I was notified by automatic email when a post was made to the board, but this doesn't happen any more. The email was handy for it prompted me to check to see what was placed.
A couple of days ago I experienced some problems removing a porn message as none of the admin functions would work and a password error would appear. It was like this for a couple of days, so I was thinking that perhaps the board had been hacked.
With the admin function out of action, the best I could do was to remove the content of the porn post and change the message subject heading. Which is what I did.
This morning I am pleased to see that the admin area is now working again. All is in order.
This 'simple' message board has been operating for well over 20 years and is still going strong. Great to see. Replies:
