PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

róisín

So far, almost every single creature that Róisín had come across since arriving in the Peak had been friendly. Kunzak. Oswin. Bane. Kolfinna. Others, too. About the only creature she'd met that she didn't care for in the slightest was Rade, and if she was really being fair, that had a great deal more to do with the fact that he was from the Lagoon than it did with any obvious character flaws.

The pale mare is gentle despite her size, and the dun girl smiles in response, eager for the chance to meet another friend. The sisterhood of the Peak was not at all what she expected, but that didn't mean that there wasn't value here for her. As a foal in a herd of many co-raised children, Róisín had never had to worry about making or keeping friends. They were built into her family, and raised from right under her nose. She'd never had to work to make anyone like her before, and the experience was often as thrilling as it was terrifying.

She nods in response to Fei's answer, but does not press her further. Róisín wasn't very old, but she well understood that there were some memories you just didn't tell other people. Thankfully, Fei carried on the conversation, allowing it to flow to an unexpected but not unwelcome topic. The young girl's gaze cast upward at the Peaks with a rueful chuckle and she shakes her head in denial.

"No, I've only recently-ish arrived myself," she says as she turns back to her massive new friend. "I grew up in the jungles of Atlantis, in a place called the Ridge. We had a mountain of our own, but it was nothing like this." She trailed off for a moment, her thoughts wistful as she remembered her beautiful home. "Have you ever been? To Atlantis, I mean."
