PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

let me be brave

Oswin couldn’t help but smile at the young mare standing before her. Had the older mares of the Peak felt this way when she showed up here, bold at only two years-old and ready to take on the world? There was a sort of fondness, a comfort in seeing there were still young mares coming forward and wanting to be a part of this place.

Then, the mare - Kimber, she’d said her name was - asked if it was alright she’d brought a friend. Oswin glanced back at the small, red stallion lingering behind her. A patient smile crossed her pink lips and she nodded as she looked back at the mare. Last time she’d come, she’d arrived with her entire family in tow, including her nephew, a grown stallion with a penchant for trouble when it came to mares. Still, the Peak sisters had been accommodating and offered the safety of the Peak for as long as they’d needed it.

“That would be more than alright. I know I’ve only just returned, but I remember when the Peak once offered sanctuary for my family. I doubt things are any different. This has always been a place that opens its borders for anyone who needs it.”

She regarded Kimber with curiosity. “Do you mind if I ask why you want to join? Not that you’ll be turned away-” she smiled reassuringly “-the Peak sisters won’t deny anyone who wants to join them.”

oswin
this is as brave as I know how to be.
I know it’s gonna hurt you, but please… be a little proud of me.
