Shoplifting has become a terrible problem for retailers like Wal-Mart. The Wal-Mart on 350 Hi-way in Raytown was having so much trouble, Raytown cops were spending all their time there writing up/arresting shoplifters. The city was threatening to CLOSE the place.

The result? Stores will close, and people will make even more of their retail purchases on-line (Amazon).
